And The Environment |
|
|
Jøtul
have greatly invested in filtration systems at out manufacturing
facilities in Norway. As well as minimising air emissions
to a level, which is far below the government recommendations,
absolutely no pollutants are released to the water table
at all. The most environmentally friendly power source in
the world is hydro electric. Of course, we use this power
in the iron smelting process at the foundry.
|
|
| Recycling |
|
|
The
Jøtul factory is one of the most modern plants in
the world. We use recycled iron for the vast majority of
our raw material. We use hydro electric power to smelt scrap
iron and steel, and recast this into modern, efficient heating
appliances.
